I've
been involved with this great game of golf since I was a small
boy growing up in Manitoba, Canada. Like many youngsters,
I hit countless golf balls, played round after round, and
practiced every chance I had. With every passing year I improved
more and more.
There
were setbacks and times of real frustration, but this is true
for anyone who has ever picked up a golf club and genuinely
wanted to improve their skills. In 1975 the years of play
and practice finally paid off when I was fortunate enough
to qualify for the PGA Tour, where I played successfully for
over twenty years. During that time I won two PGA Tour events,
the 1980 Pensacola Open and the 1986 Deposit Guaranty Classic.
In addition, I enjoyed nine international victories, including
World Cup wins in 1980 and 1985. I have competed around the
world representing my home country of Canada and I was a long
time member fo the board of directors of the Canadian Tour.

recognition of my contribution to Canadian golf, I was
inducted into the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame in July 2002. |

In
addition to being a professional golfer, I have pursued other
golf-related projects, including golf course design, writing
a popular instructional book, organizing and participating
in various golf outings, and the marketing and endorsement
of "The Seaforth Rain Cover" and Seaforth Rain Gear.
I
have partnered in the golf design business with long-time
friend and fellow PGA Tour winner, Mike Morley, to bring golfers
a pleasant and rewarding golf experience through our design
philosophy.
